Ahn sees that he fight for a greed of lordship, not for Talos or freedom of Skyrim, which is makes him regret every stab he has done to his own friend.

Ahn : you know Ralof, what I see now on that throne was a greed of lordship, this is not what I fight for! I fight for Talos! not for a greed!
